Sage Creek boys volleyball, has been one of the fastest growing sports teams in San Diego history. Sage Creek opened its doors in 2014, the First two seasons were both novice seasons with impressive talent and a highly motivated staff. 2016 Started Sage Creek boys volleyball first varsity season. The program won their league championship, CIF championship, and an appearance in State.
In 2017, the boys volleyball program moved up two Divisions into Division 2 for the San Diego Section for CIF. Again, Sage Creek won their League Championship, Won a back to back CIF Championship, and won the first ever State Championship for Carlsbad School District.
In 2018, Sage Creek, became the fastest moving program in San Diego history going from Division 4 to Open Division for CIF volleyball. The Open Division represents the top 8 teams in San Diego during regular season play. As playoffs approach, the top 8 teams from division 1 move to an open division play off bracket which is a double elimination tournament. Sage creek was seeded #4 overall in playoffs beating top teams including #1 San Diego ranked and #12 Nationally ranked La Jolla High School but lost to them in the CIF open division semifinals.
2019, Sage Creek again defied the odds and carried 4 teams in their high school program. 2 freshmen teams, one JV team and a varsity team. The 53 athletes in the program led San Diego in top Freshmen teams and JV team. The Varsity team entered the Open Division playoffs as #3 overall. Sage creek knocked off the #1 seeded team Torrey Pines (#3 in the country) and faced #2 Westview in the CIF Open Division Championships. The season concluded with Sage Creek as the #2 team in San Diego and the #8 team in California after losing to the State Champions and #1 team in the country, New Port Harbor.
Our goal is to continue to promote volleyball to a broader community with more Free open gyms, free use of volleyballs, free access to talented coaching staff, and an opportunity to grow boys volleyball from the elementary level on up. This of course requires a ton of resources and to keep everything free for kids walk in our doors and play this incredible life long sport we are looking for your help to grow it all with us.

These are recommendations and not required.
Ankle braces are STRONGLY recommended for all players. There are many kinds, Active Ankles is one brand but choose the brand that fits you best.
Low top basketball shoes or volleyball shoes. Try these on and make sure they fit correctly and are comfortable you will be wearing them a lot.
Volleyball Knee Pads, there are a lot of different varieties I recommend going to a store and trying them on.
